The day began with bridal prep in The Loft at Hyde House. The bride, Rhiannon, looked stunning in her Rue De Seine dress, complemented by her shoes from Charles & Keith and jewellery from Bride & Winter and Saint Valentine. Her hair, styled by Lara Stokes into a hollywood wave, was beautifully elegant, adding to her radiant look. Meanwhile, the groom, Jack, prepared for his big day in the cosy Library, donning a sharp suit from Politix.

The Ceremony in The Grange

The ceremony took place in The Grange, a beautiful and intimate setting that perfectly suited the couple’s small, relaxed wedding. Jack and Rhiannon, who now live in New Zealand, wanted a low-key celebration with close friends and family, and The Grange provided the perfect backdrop for their emotional vows. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as they exchanged heartfelt promises, creating a deeply moving and memorable moment for all of their family and friends.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delightful reception on the lawn. The lawn at Hyde House is ideal for mingling and enjoying the beautiful Cotswolds scenery. The wedding breakfast was held in the Barn, a spacious and beautifully decorated area that provided a warm and equally inviting atmosphere for the guests. It was clear that Jack and Rhiannon's love story resonated deeply with everyone present to celebrate with them on the day.

One of the standout moments of the day was our portrait session at golden hour. The soft, warm light of the setting sun coupled with the magical atmosphere was perfect for capturing intimate and romantic photos of the two loved-up newlyweds. We took full advantage of the venue's beautiful gardens and the field next to Hyde House, creating breathtaking images that I hope Rhiannon and Jack will cherish forever. I loved that they were more than happy to trudge through the overgrown grass to capture some of the most beautiful golden hour photos ever. And of course, they were absolute naturals.

Evening Celebrations and Unique Moments

As the evening progressed, the celebrations continued with lively music from DJ Toolie. The couple and their guests were totally up for everything, including some super modern, fun and creative direct flash photos. One particularly memorable moment was when they suggested taking photos in the bath tub, showcasing their playful and adventurous spirits. This was such a fun and exciting part of the day and times like this remind me of why I adore my job so much.
