Choosing a wedding photographer took us seconds. When I showed Nick a photographer I’d been following for years (and years!) he was without doubt 100% onboard, and Lucy was assigned to the challenge of capturing two very awkward people on their big day!
From the first email enquiry to receiving our imagery, Lucy has been a dream to deal with and she won our trust from our first Hello’s. She has the art of being super approachable and friendly yet maintaining professionalism throughout the process.
Instead of an engagement shoot, we asked Lucy to come along to our ‘pre-wedding’ elopement to capture the day we secretly got married before heading out to France. Her presence was like having a good friend there to celebrate with, and that special afternoon she was a part of what will be a very fond memory forever.
Having our wedding in France meant organising suppliers was a little stressful at times, but Lucy’s abroad package was so clear and there were no hidden fees or additions, which made a hectic time very easy for us. On the day itself, Lucy was charmingly funny and fitted right in with our family and friends. Not only was she our photographer, but she was also the extra pair of hands nobody knew we needed!
Being rather uncomfortable in front of the lens, Lucy has the most gorgeous approach on capturing your day. Her laid back, natural style means you quickly forget there’s a camera, but her infectious energy will have you laughing and smiling your way through your portraits with zero awkwardness... she is simply magic.
On both occasions, Lucy managed to capture the celebrations so organically that they take us right back to that moment in time, filled with emotion and smiles. We cannot put into words how magical our gallery is but every moment of our day was documented to perfection! Lucy’s talent will never be given justice in testimonials as it is impossible to describe the pure joy she has given by allowing the emotion of our wedding day to last a lifetime, and for that, there will never be enough thank yous.

After speaking with her and describing our wedding vision, it was a perfect fit.
We were one of many couples that were unfortunately affected by the the pandemic delaying and disrupting our wedding, but despite us changing the date 4 times! Lucy was wonderful to deal with and confirmed our new dates every time without a fuss.
On our wedding day, Lucy was wonderful to work with, she was so relaxed and fun! It was so easy to work with her. The outcome of the wedding photos…all we can say is Incredible.

We first came across Lucy at some of our closest friends’ wedding in 2019, we loved her style and professionalism instantly. We gave her a follow on Instagram, and fell in love with her natural style and the way she captured every detail. We agreed that Lucy would be our wedding photographer before we were even engaged!
From the day that we first enquired about Lucy’s availability to the day we received our gallery, Lucy has been faultless. Lucy is so easy to talk to yet professional at all times- she’s got this amazing ability to feel like a friend you’ve known for years.
On our wedding day Lucy was with me (Ellie) whilst I was getting ready- I didn’t realise the role Lucy would have on our wedding day (she is so much more than a photographer!), she helped to get us all ready and even dried the stems of my bouquet and made sure my train was straight. It is honestly the biggest privilege to have Lucy in some of the most special memories I have of our day- she’s like the unofficial bridesmaid you never knew you needed! Throughout the rest of the day Lucy was an absolute joy, she captured every single detail and emotion perfectly. Our portrait sessions were so enjoyable that they were actually some of our favourite memories of our day, they were also so natural and she captured ‘us’ so authentically. All our guests loved her too- some have even booked her as their wedding photographer since!
After our wedding day Lucy got our sneak peeks across so quickly- they were incredible but oh my gosh, we can’t actually begin to explain how incredible/ perfect our full gallery is, we really aren’t sure how Lucy does it but there aren’t actually the words to give justice to the end product, the photos tell the story of our day seamlessly and every single person who has seen our wedding photos have commented on how amazing our photographer was! Basically, Lucy is an absolute genius and it was an absolute honour and privilege to have her there to capture our wedding day, we’d encourage absolutely anyone and everyone to book her because you won’t regret it.

I simply cannot put into words how amazing and beautiful our wedding photographs are. Lucy, you are incredible at what you do.
Truth be told I was not looking forward to standing and posing for portraits, we’re just not that couple. But I can honestly say we had so much fun. Lucy made us feel so at ease and as though we were just having a laugh with a friend.
I’m not sure I’ll ever look back through our wedding slideshow without tears streaming down my face. The quality of the photos, the way in which you receive them for the first time and the love, care and detail when your prints physically land with you is just second to none.

AT HOME IN THE COTSWOLDS
How privileged we were to have Lucy not only capturing, but, as a true part of, our wedding day.
We were introduced to Lucy by our good friends, Chloe and Tom of Wood & Wood. We knew from Lucy's galleries that her whimsical, joyful and relaxed style was perfect for us and our micro wedding in the Cotswolds; we really should have known that the person behind such photos would, herself, be a beautiful soul and bring so much joy to our day and everyone she interacted with. Lucy wasn't just 'the wedding photographer' and there certainly wasn't any fixed formality enforced on our day, instead, she has a wonderful knack of making everyone relax and 'carry on' resulting in so many special moments being captured, unfiltered.
I would say that Lucy blends into the background but that would be doing her a disservice as she does so much more than that (and loves a natter too much for that to ever be possible!) from intuiting the important pieces and moments to make sure every micro detail (that you've spent so many hours debating and creating) is captured, to helping with last minute styling and beyond.
We have all the feels every-time we look at our photos (which is often still!) and beam with the same happiness we felt on that day. Thank you always xx
